Design and furnishing of delicatessen in Lunteren
Nienke Brandsen decided to start a specialized delicatessen in Lunteren. It has been a long cherished dream since childhood.
Why Lunteren? In 2021, 13,775 people lived in the village and the surrounding countryside. Lunteren is located between the towns of Ede and Barneveld. These villages are located on the Veluwe: a very touristy spot! The village center is cozy and there is a relatively large number of shoppers. In the vicinity of Lunteren, many regional products are also made from the land, the stable and the forests. Nienke also sells these products in her delicatessen. A very good reason for Nienke to have a beautiful delicatessen designed and furnished by WSBDESIGN.COM at this geographical location.
How do I start an inspiring delicatessen?
After conducting market research, Nienke contacted WSB’s interior architects to draw up a beautiful plan for the design of her delicatessen shop. The references in the field of design and interior construction appealed to her. Gerrit Dros of WSB: “We took a good look at the mood board on Nienke’s Pinterest. That was the source of inspiration for our design. It was very cool for us to create an appealing 3D design. Also because the range appeals to the imagination. After the design phase, we ensured good budget control. WSB provided the interior in the execution and a number of critical working drawings for third parties. Our client was therefore able to carry out the finishing of the installations, the construction work and the finishing of ceilings. That was a very efficient approach, everything went well from a planning point of view. We had a very pleasant collaboration.”
The design of the interior of the Heerlyk delicatessen
In our design, we carefully considered an optimal and flexible presentation of the various product categories. The interior design devotes a great deal of attention and space to the sale and presentation of a rich assortment of cheese products. In addition, we have designed beautiful presentations for the wines, special beers, nuts and tapas products, but also the meats, vinegars, olive oils and chocolate. In the midst of these presentations, we designed a lunchroom for sandwiches with several tables for eating in the restaurant. We have deliberately separated the counter for cheese from the counter in the lunchroom. The atmosphere is in line with the Lunter identity: warm, attractive and not too light. Decent quality. Craftsmanship and craft.
Would you like to know more about the concept of Heerlyk? Soon we will publish an exclusive interview with the founder of Heerlyk: Nienke Brandsen in the media. What makes this new store so successful?
