The fairytale of Optique Design
At the beginning of the corona crisis, WSB was invited by Claude, Leonard and Monique from Optique Design in Nandrin with the request for an interior design for their new optics store. Along the busy “Route de Condroz”, a much larger building in a high-profile location became available. In terms of appearance, it matches the wide and high-quality range of brands of Optique Design. With a complete measurement center and also professional hearing care professionals on floors, the new Optique Design is a regional attraction for the eye and ear.
Rick Blankenstijn: “After a visit to Vermeulen Optiek, I was called for an appointment. Immediately at the first meeting it became crystal clear to me: We are dealing here with a driven entrepreneur in the industry of optiques, who is playing for gold medal. Built from scratch in 26 years. That is not to be underestimated.
DNA of the interior design optics for Optique Design
The focus on the customer, the glass quality and the choice of frames with the associated brands is, in a word, world class. This also had to be the basis of the DNA. Quiet with a few special touches. A ‘Hall of Fame of the team and famous spectacle wearers’, cozy sitting, lounging, good accessibility from two sides of the store. A serious workshop to prepare the glasses and to sharpen the lenses. The eye-catcher hangs from the ceiling with typical images from the Nandrin region in combination with Eyefashion.”
The collaboration? “Super good, a lot of fun, active collaboration, a lot of talking, dimensionally stable work and ultimately an ultra-short installation period. A great collaboration with Claude, Leonard and Monique.”
