Renovating in corona time
Our client planned to renovate in 2021. When the corona virus brought German retail to a standstill, WSB’s Nico Schreuder received a phone call to draw up a reliable budget for a completely new store in 1 day. The question was whether we could convert within 8 weeks. You will find the answer in this report on the new store. WSB provided the design of the new store concept and directed the entire work up to and including the advice regarding a temporary store location. As a result, the loss of turnover in the actual construction period was kept to a minimum.
New store concept
The Raltschitsch store is located in an A1 location with a lot of passing shoppers. The old store was narrow and low and did not give the customer a sense of space. In the new store concept, a lot of attention has been paid to spatial experience, professionalism and conviviality. Eye care and eye advice are the focus of the back section.
