Luxury shop fitting for Juwelier Haesen, Valkenburg (NL)
WSB provided a completely new, luxurious shop fitting for Juwelier Haesen. Robert and Francien Haesen are two young entrepreneurs from Valkenburg, specialized in the jewelery trade.
Reason for moving
After the takeover of jeweler Vyghen in Valkenburg, the professionalism and the range ensured that the store was running smoothly, there was soon a lack of space. The store was small and located in a narrow street, but it was cozy but too small for professional growth. At the beginning of 2021, Rick Blankenstijn from WSB was invited to inspect a number of adjacent buildings on the Dr. Erensstraat. Is the location good? What is the technical condition of the retail spaces, can you turn them into something beautiful and what will it cost? Rick was involved in the negotiation of the store and the exploration of the possibilities with the municipality. To make a long story short: the move seemed to be a commercial choice, financially feasible and profitable, the municipality and landlord agreed to the wishes and requirements.
Flood Limburg 2021
In July 2021, a major flood occurred in Valkenburg and the surrounding area. The water damage in the old shop space and the basement was enormous. WSB was asked to speed up the building permit applications and overall budgeting of a new store.
The months after the opening brought the truth to light: the move turned out to be a very good choice!
Graphic design and marketing
WSB provided a completely renewed branding of the new Juwelier Haesen. The offline graphic design; starting with the logo and logo. The consistent translation to the communication expressions on the outside of the store, in the showcases, the stationery, the cards, the bags. Proposals for translation on the website are a possible next step. The new logo is more legible, elegant, personal and clear. The cool thing about this renovation is that Robert and Francien have completely renewed the new house style and implemented it in all facets.
Luxurious shop fittings up to the exterior facade design
The municipality of Valkenburg likes to maintain a general store image that does not involve garish advertising. The colors of Mergelland are highly appreciated in the design. The philosophy has been implemented in the design of the exterior facade in combination with a focus on safety and burglary resistance. The store itself has a cozy design, many calm, natural tones in combination with the beautiful walnut wood are interspersed with gold details and elegant fabrics. The level differences in the store have been used to create a charming sitting area where Robert, Francien and the customers can talk, look and select in peace.
Cooperation with specialists from the region
Directed by WSBDESIGN.COM | Shopfitting has collaborated with a network of subcontractors from the region, but also specialists far beyond. Everything has been taken care of from scratch. Rick Blankenstijn: “We as team WSB would like to thank Robert and Francien Haesen for the great cooperation, we are really very happy that ‘Christmas months’ have already been running for several months after the opening and it is very nice to hear that the more expensive range of jewellery, jewelery and watches is now sold much more easily!”
