Renovation to Luxury Jewelry Store for Ris Juwelier
In IJmuiden and the surrounding area, Ris Juwelier has been a well-known name since 1932. With Mitchel Ris, the fourth generation of the family is now at the helm of the store. As always, he brings his own approach to entrepreneurship in running a jewelry store.
After taking over the store from his parents in 2020, Mitchel decided in 2023 to hire WSB Design for a complete renovation and a new, luxury store interior. The entire store was stripped and everything was renewed; facade, ceiling, electrical installation, lighting, flooring, and custom furniture, including tailor-made walnut display cabinets. This rigorous approach allowed the store’s space to be greatly expanded by pulling the facade forward.
Luxury materials for a luxury appearance
The brief to WSB Design was clear. Create a luxury look in the jewelry store, increase sales areas, and attract new customers, alongside the existing clientele. The wish for the new luxury store concept was: “A jewelry store with a light base, natural colors, and materials.” A beautiful PVC floor in Hungarian point, warm walnut wood, subtle marble accents, and terra and moss green as contrast colors were chosen. These elements in the custom furniture and design give the jewelry store a friendly, luxurious appearance, which attracts many new customers.
The complete turn-key renovation was realized in 5 weeks through a pleasant collaboration with Ris Juwelier and a tight schedule from WSB Design. All in all, a highly successful renovation that both the client and their customers are extremely positive about! We wish Mitchel much success with his newly renovated jewelry store in the future!
