Because the current building of Optiek Akkerman, part of the City Lens group, had to be demolished, Marc and Xander Pols approached WSB. Our WSB designers made the interior design and complete shop fittings for the optician.

Xander Pols, had to move because it is being demolished.

‘Impress our audience’
The brief for the interior design was clear: ‘impress our audience, including many well-known ones
rappers, with the feeling of an international hotel lobby. Well, that has been achieved in the shop fitting of the optician: a world of gold and diamonds shines at you as soon as you step over the threshold with mirrors and gold wallpaper from Elitis. A wide LED screen hangs above the counter, which is finished with marble and leather. The staircase is fully integrated into the more than 5 meter high spectacle wall. The highlight can be found in the back of the shop: The Vault! The thick vault door gives access to the Goldbar World and only one word is possible there: wow!
