State of the Art store renovation
Optician Kelb, a populair name in Hamburg, now better than ever with a state-of-the-art renovation on the historic Wandsbeker Markstrasse of the city. After 30 years of passion for eyewear fashion, owner Birgit Kelb decided it was time for a store renovation. While maintaining the established reputation, she turned to WSBdesign.com for ‘the next step’ to showcase to the world in Hamburg.
A fixed element in the design of the store renovation was the entrance at the corner of the building. The reception area with a bar and cash register needed to be relatively close to the entrance.
Shop renovation has a positive influence on Optiker Kelb
The location of the entrance and the shop windows posed a significant challenge. The result is a shopping area where the windows feature rotating eyewear displays combined with a clever island layout. Here, eyewear presentation and customer waiting are blended. This designed layout effortlessly guides the customer towards the long wall through the store.
These walls offer an extensive collection of glasses, while the central island provides a space for sales advice. The lowered ceilings in various styles create an intimate atmosphere that suits the sales and advisory process.
Birgit and the team at Optiker Kelb are very excited. The layout designed by WSB has proven itself with a steady stream of customers discovering the new store.
