From an old wine house to a modern optician and audiology
The Nowak family had decided in 2021 to move to the corner of the street of the Johannisstraße. A larger building that used to be a beautiful old wine house. Converting an old winery into a modern optician was the challenge for WSB!
The character of this building, a former winery/restaurant with vaults and old walls, had to be left intact as much as possible. ‘Less is more’ was the assignment. The shop design for this optician and hearing care professional was a challenge, partly due to the large number of wide columns in the store. In particular, the routing in the store has been successful in design and realization. Thanks to the smart routing in the optics store, the overview on the glasses walls is not obstructed.
Shop design optician and audiology
The various refraction room and professional hearing care room are positioned to the left and right between the vaults. In these spaces, the character of the old winery in combination with a modern optician comes to the fore.
For the lighting in the entire optician, there is chosen for a black track with LED spots to keep the beautiful curves of the ceiling intact and to provide optimal lighting for the presentation of the glasses.
The mix of Forbettershops and WSBdesign
The shop furniture has become a nice mix with custom furniture from WSB and optical presentations from Forbettershops.com. These two custom furniture presentations blend in nicely with the curves of the vaults in the building.
