Schoenen Danneels is housed in an old redbrick municipal building in Bruges with plenty of character. The firm is a big player in the Belgian market. The family has a particularly good feel for beautiful shoes and good fits. And the customer comes first.

The store is being radically refurbished, structurally as well as in terms of decor. The rear section has an industrial look; this is home to the men’s department. At the front of the store is the women’s department. Here, greater use has been made of softer materials such as velour, and softer shades have been chosen. Danneels sets itself apart by offering advice and service. They take the time to serve their customers properly. For this reason, and in order to extend the length of time customers stay in the store, a coffee corner has been incorporated into the design. Following the conversion, the store is all set to serve the entire Bruges region.

Phase 1 is now complete and phase 2 is well underway.
