Frits van den Bosch | Winner design award Mido

February 2014 was our first contact in the store in DEURNE, and we then went for lunch together in the center of Antwerp. It was a truly pleasant first meeting. Three weeks later, we were in Scherpenzeel at the invitation of Nico and Rick to visit the WSB company, and I must say, the connection was perfect from the very first minute. We quickly reached an agreement for collaboration, and the store was beautifully designed and perfectly executed. In early 2000, the building in Wommelgem came up for sale, and we went to take a look together. Nico and Rick were already dreaming of a new collaboration, and for Thomas and Frits, it was the most natural thing in the world, with the well-known result... the 2025 design award worldwide at Mido in Milan, and the rest is history.
